Business Analyst

What are you going to do?
In the role of Business Analyst you will work for the largest business unit within Stahl (turnover approx. € 500 million). Due to the further professionalization of the business unit, there is a specific focus on business reports and analyzes. The organization strives to automate reports as much as possible with the help of BI Tools. In this role, you report to the Global Business Controller of this business unit. You convert large data sets into useful management information and present your findings to stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include the following activities:

• Periodic reporting activities (including on: volumes, sales, prices, variable costs, gross margin, fixed costs and working capital);
• Taking care of analyzes and drawing up reports;
• Contributions to the budget & forecasting process;
• Periodic and ad hoc (analysis) activities;
• Identifying opportunities for improvement to increase the profitability and cash generation of the business unit;
• Involved in various projects (including the choice and implementation of a new BI system).

What do you bring?

• A completed Bachelor or Master education in a financial direction;
• Approx. 4-5 years of relevant work experience;
• You are proactive, communicative and have a hands-on mentality;
• Knowledge of BI technologies;
• Good command of the English language;
• Available full time.

Where are you going to work?
Stahl is a global market leader in the production of chemicals for leather, flexible and inflexible substrates, textiles and related products. Approx. 2,000 employees work within the organization (spread over 27 countries). In addition, the organization has 11 production locations and 38 laboratories. In this role you will work for the Business Unit leather. You report to the Global Business Controller of this Business Unit. Within the organization there is an open corporate culture with short communication lines.
