Accounts Receivable Manager EMEA

What are your responsibilities?
As an Accounts Receivable Manager EMEA your goal is to maintain a solid debtor portfolio with minimal overdue balances while maintaining strong relationships with customers, growers and nurseries across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues, streamline sales and claims processes and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices. You will report to the Controller EMEA. The role will also be responsible for: 

• Manage and lead the AR team (Breda (NL) and Kent (UK)), overseeing transactional processes and ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable;
• Manage the invoicing and crediting processes in conjunction with the sales department; 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, growers, and nurseries to facilitate timely collections and resolve potential issues;
• Drive initiatives to improve processes relating to sales, returns and claims;
• Oversee monthly accounting close activities and provide accounts receivable analysis;
• Ensure compliance with legislation and Group policies whilst maintaining the credit policy. 

What you need?

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and at least 6 years of experience;
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role;
• Experience in a large international company and accounts receivable experience is a plus;
• Strong communication skills in English;
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail;
• Willing to travel to the UK office approximately once a month; 
• Process oriented with strong planning skills, ability to work under pressure, proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
